Burn Bans that are in Effect in Monroe County
Barrett Township: We have not heard back from as of yet.
Chestnuthill Township has an ongoing Burn Ban, Any type of open flame fires ie: campfires, fire pits (propane fire pits are excluded as far as he knows and will get back to us if that changes), burn barrels are all banned at this time under the Burn Ban.
Coolbaugh Township has a Mandatory Burn Ban in Effect.
Borough of Delaware Water Gap: Has an Ordnance against Burning.
East Stroudsburg Borough: We have not heard back from as of yet.
Eldred Township: We have not heard back from as of yet.
Hamilton Township Has a burning ordinance no Burning during the day Monday through Friday !! You can burn 5 to 9 all Day Saturday and Sunday !! If you fire gets out of control you are responsible for the payment to extinguish the fire!!!
Jackson Township: Does Not have a Burn Ban in effect, but they would like to remind everyone to use common sense.
Middle Smithfield Township: We have not heard back from as of yet.
Mount Pocono Borough: Does Not Allow Burning at All at Anytime.
Paradise Township: We have not heard back from as of yet.

Polk Township: We have not heard back from as of yet.
Price Township: We have not heard back from as of yet.
