Stroud Area Regional Police Looking for a Black Male that Robbed a Gas Station in Stroudsburg
On 10/13/2019 at 6:51 p.m. the Stroud Area Regional Police Department was dispatched to a reported robbery at the Shell Gas Station, located at 100 McConnell Street, Stroudsburg, Pa. Upon investigation the following was learned;
A male entered the gas station and demanded the clerk open the register and give him the money. The male did display a handgun. The clerk gave the male an undetermined amount of cash and the male fled the gas station on foot. The male fled towards the direction of Second Street. There were no injuries reported.
The male was described as a tall black male , approximately 5'10" tall, thin build possibly in his 20;s, wearing sunglasses, a black backpack a black or gray hat with a red Polo symbol on the front, black/grey hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black shoes. Photos of the suspect are attached to this press release.
