Human bone found during search of Ross Township property
Pieces of human bone were uncovered Wednesday during a major, multi-agency search by law enforcement investigators of a home and yard in Ross Township.
The home, at 2368 Woodhaven Drive in Saylorsburg, is owned by Michael and Cathy Horvath.
The Pennsylvania State Police, Pennsylvania Game Commission, Monroe County Coroner’s Office and the Monroe County Districts Attorney’s Office are all involved in the ongoing search. All agencies are being tight-lipped about the investigation.
Using heavy machinery to dig soil and fine hand tools for detailed work, a meticulous grid search of the land was conducted Wednesday.
As of Thursday, investigators were looking inside the home, sources said.
A state trooper said the search will likely continue all week.
