Armed gunman robs Turkey Hill in Chestnuthill Twp. (Gilbert)
The Turkey Hill on Interchange Road (Rt 209) in Chestnuthill Township (Gilbert) was robbed at gunpoint at 3:45 a.m. Wednesday, according to state police.
A man entered the store and told the cashier that he had a gun and demanded money from the register.
He placed the money in a plastic bag and left the store on foot, appearing to head south on Route 209.
He is described as white, with a short, ginger-colored beard and short brown hair. He was approximately 6-feet to 6-feet, 2 inches tall and weighed between 175 and 190 pounds. He was wearing a red, white and blue baseball hat, a red T-shirt with a bluish colored long sleeve shirt underneath, blue jeans and gray sneakers.
