Brittany Huegel of Saylorsburg Arrested for Retail Theft/Shoplifting

CHESTNUTHILL TOWNSHIP: On June 4th, 2019 at approximately 4:23 pm PSP Fern Ridge responded to Weis Market at 924 Weir Lake Rd, Brodheadsville for a retail theft.

When Brittany Huegel (26) of Saylorsburg was confronted by store staff, she dropped the items she was trying to remove from the store without paying. Brittany Huegel then left the scene.

Brittany Huegel was cited for retail theft. Charges are pending in District Court 43-3-04 with the Honorable Judge Colleen Mancuso.

UPDATE: We now know that the total merchandise that she was trying to steal totaled $55.11
