Brush Fire 565 Adie Dr Effort

CHESTNUTHILL TOWNSHIP: 11:23 am There is a reported Brush Fire at 565 Adie Dr in Effort, the caller stated that it is about 10 feet away from the dwelling. West End Volunteer Fire Co and Whiskey 12 (DCNR) are responding.

UPDATE: 11:49 am Station 43 Command advised NCCC that Whiskey 12 (DCNR) can cancel, the brush fire is out and it was accidental. The homeowners dumped ash from a wood stove early this morning and apparently still had some hot embers that started the brush fire.

UPDATE: 11:52 Station 43 is clear and available.
