Bush leads Martinelli in Eldred Township

In the Eldred Township supervisor race, Republicans JoAnn Bush and Cathy Martinelli both sought one spot on the November ballot to run against Democrat Kevin Silliman, who ran unopposed.

Bush was the top vote getter with 75 compared to Martinelli’s 46 votes.

Democrats confirmed Silliman with 80 votes.

The winner in November will hold a six year seat on the township board.

All results are unofficial until confirmed by the Monroe County election board.
