Delayed Overnight Motor Vehicle Accident Rt 209 near Kevin Ln Brodheadsville

CHESTNUTHILL TOWNSHIP: 05:55 am West End Volunteer Fire Co and West End Ambulance were dispatched to Rt 209 in the area of Kevin Ln for a one vehicle rollover into a telephone pole with possible entrapment.

Upon arrival, at 06:08 am 43-9-3 advised responding units that the pole is snapped and wires are down in the roadway.

UPDATE: 06:10 am 43-9-1 advised negative entrapment.

UPDATE: 06:13 am 43-9-1 advised MCCC that Rt 209 is closed between  Kevin Ln and Scott St.

UPDATE: 06:14 am MCCC advised  43-8 that PPL has been Notified.

UPDATE: 06:48 am 43-8 advised MCCC the pole that snapped is a Frontier Telepole.

UPDATE: 06:55 am 43-8 Requested PennDOT to close Rt 209.

UPDATE: 07:32 am 43-8 advised MCCC that PennDot has the road closed and Station 43 is clear and available.
