The Pocono Mountain Volunteer Fire Company’s Annual Carnival is the oldest and largest carnival in the Poconos – providing fun and entertainment for both children and adults since 1927.
The carnival is held each year during the last week in July and features games, rides, food, and fun at 20 Murray Street Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania, PA 18344 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm Monday through Friday, 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm Saturday and Sunday.
You’ve got to try the new delicious menu items prepared by our Ladies Auxiliary including hot, roasted sweet corn on the cob, deep fried cookies and candy, soft serve ice cream, a new dollar menu and our famous sausage sandwich that has had people coming back for decades!
This family-friendly annual event features exciting rides for all ages, entertaining games under the Big Top and along the midway, Wednesday night fireworks, nightly cash bingo, raffle drawings and favorite fair food for every appetite.
There is no charge for parking and admission to the carnival, which is sponsored by the Pocono Mountain Volunteer Fire Company.
Ride tickets are $1.50 each, $25 for 20 tickets, or $50 for 50 tickets plus 1 free ride. Rides take 3 or more tickets each.
On Monday, every ride on the midway is only 1 ticket per rider. On Thursday, all rides are reduced by 1 ticket.
Choose from a variety of tasty festival fare, from carnival classics like funnel cakes and deep-fried cookies and candy to the event’s signature sausage sandwich and famous Beef Roast Nights on Sunday and Saturday.

SPECIAL EVENTS
• BEEF ROAST – SUNDAY, JULY 23
Feast on a juicy roast beef sandwich slow cooked and marinated on an open spit. Sliced to melt in your mouth and heaped on a fresh baked Kaiser roll, add horseradish or the condiment of your choice and you have the roast beef sandwich that has become a Pocono Mountain Carnival favorite.
• DISCOUNT RIDE NIGHT – MONDAY, JULY 24
On Discount Ride Night you can ride all of the thrilling adult and kiddie rides on the largest Midway in the Pocono’s. Every ride is only one ticket, so come early and ride for prices that will take you back to 80’s. The only problem you’re going to have is deciding which ride to go on next. (no rain date)
• FIREWORK NIGHT – WEDNESDAY, JULY 26
When the sun goes down the most spectacular fireworks show you’ve seen is about to start. The sky comes alive with brilliant colors which can be seen from anywhere on the carnival grounds, culminating in the breathtaking Grand Finale, and as if that wasn’t enough you can’t beat the price – it’s FREE!

• REDUCED TICKET NIGHT – THURSDAY, JULY 27
Once is never enough, so for yet another night we’re bringing the cost of your summer fun down! All ride admission is reduced by one ticket. Do the math, a normally 4 ticket ride is only 3 tickets. (no rain date)
• SHOPRITE OF MT. POCONO & DALEVILLE NIGHT – FRIDAY, JULY 28
Tonight Only, Courtesy of Bill’s Shoprite of Daleville & Mt. Pocono, anyone bringing in a cash register receipt that totals $25 or more from Bill’s Shoprite, can turn the receipt into a FREE Funnel Cake. The only restrictions are that the receipt must be from Bill’s Shoprite of Mount Pocono or Daleville, and it must be dated the week of Carnival (July 23rd to 28th), take your qualifying receipt to the Funnel Cake stand under the tent, and get your free Funnel Cake. Don’t forget to thank the people at Bill’s Shoprite for your FREE Funnel Cake the next time you visit them!
• BEEF ROAST – SATURDAY, JULY 29
We couldn’t end the Pocono’s biggest carnival without giving you another chance to enjoy our mouth watering beef roast. Come back for seconds, you won’t be able to enjoy this favorite again until 2018. There’s no better way to start the last BIG night of rides, games, grand prize drawings and excitement than with our beef roast.
