Follow up: China III Restaurant Armed Robbery

Official Press Release from Pocono Mountain Regional Police

On 6/29/2020 the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department responded to a report of a robbery at the China III restaurant in Barrett Township. Victims reported that the actor entered the rear of the business, armed with a handgun, and demanded the employees get money from the register, which they did.

After receiving the money, the actor fled on foot. The actor concealed his identity with a hood and a mask but is described as a stocky, light-skinned black or Hispanic male. PMRPD Officers who responded were unable to locate the actor after he fled and are asking for anyone with information to contact the PMRPD at (570) 895-2400 or Detective John Bohrman at the listed number or jbohrman@pmrpd.com.
