According to the State Police, On 02/01/2022 at approximately 1700hrs Benjamin Deutsch 31 y/o of Effort was driving his 2002 Chevrolet Silverado Pickup Truck North on Burger Hollow Rd at a High Rate of Speed when he failed to Negotiate a Right Curve in the roadway and Crossed the Double Yellow Lines and collided with the 1998 International Harvester Flatbed Tow Truck owned by Syracuse Auto Body of Kresgeville going South on Burger Hollow Rd driven by Brent Simpson 43 y/o of Effort just South of Short Ridge Dr in Kunkletown, Polk Township.

Mr. Simpson was supposed to start a new job next week in Tennesee, those plans will have to be put on hold as he will have months of rehabilitation and healing in front of him.
I am praying for the family of the young man that died at the scene. I will continue to pray for Brent for a speedy recovery he is strong and he is stubborn if you know him he will not circum to his injuries I expect he will recover that is my prayer. It was an accident. When you get in your car remember to stop at the stop sign drive like a gentleman when you see somebody trying to get in traffic slow down let them in not me first.
