Friends of the West End Park & Open Space Commission
The board members of the Friends of the West End Park & Open Space Commission welcomes you to join and help us develop YOUR Community Park.
The "Friends of" helps furnish the means to meet the capital and labor needs of the West End Regional Park. This non-profit entity with your support will foster a greater sense of pride, raise public awareness about the park and assist in providing the needed funds to continue the development.
To date at the park we have created a shared-use all accessible trail (known as the Dave Fleetwood Memorial Trail) picnic pavilion, installed exercise equipment, access points, parking, a well, plus many miles of single track trails and other site improvements.
Phase Two will construct the region's first Leash-Free Dog Park, additional trailhead to the Fleetwood Trail, parking and public access off Merwine Hilltop Drive opening up this area of the West End Regional Park.
Thank You in advance for your support and please let me know if you would like to assist in our efforts; program participation/support, volunteer labor or attend a "Friends of" meeting.
Meetings are the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Chestnuthill Park Building, 221 Rt. 715 Brodheadsville starting at 6:30 pm.
