It is with a sad heart that we announce the passing of Lily Ann Mildred Longyhore a 16 month old infant of Effort, PA
This is something that a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, cousin, brother, or sister ever should have to experience, the passing of a child, especially an infant.
I heard the call go out over the radio the other day and that sadden me when I heard it, then I was contacted by my friend Steve, the Grandfather of the sweet little girl and my heart dropped. There was nothing that I could do or say that could possibly have helped him or anyone to understand what had happened to Lily, all I could do is be there for them if they needed me.
Lily Ann Mildred Longyhore was only 16 months old when passed away suddenly at her Effort home on January 7th, 2021.
Lily was born in Allentown, PA on August 20, 2019, and the daughter of Frank Longyhore of Effort, PA and Danielle Colombraro of Albrightsville, PA.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother: Charlie Longyhore and a sister: Nova Longyhore both of Effort, PA. Her paternal grandparents: Steven and Connie Warner of Effort; her maternal grandmother: Tracy Colombraro and her companion Wayne Keiper of Brodheadsville, PA, her paternal great grandparents: James and Diana Cornell of Mays Landing, NJ and her maternal Grandmother: Karen Koehler and her wife GraceAnn Dilella of Belleville, NJ.
Lily is also survived by five aunts: Stefonia Knecht of Effort, PA, Sarah Longyhore of Effort, PA, Melissa Warner of Long Pond, PA, Dorothy Warner of PA, and Jessica Colombraro of Albrightsville, PA and one uncle: Michael Colombraro of Reading, PA.
Funeral services will be held at 4 pm, Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Gower Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Route 209, Gilbert, PA with Rev. David Felker officiating.
Family and friends are welcome to offer condolences on Thursday, January 14, 2021, from 2 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
