TUNKHANNOCK TOWNSHIP: 1:00 pm There is a Motor Vehicle Accident 711 Mountain Rd Albrightsville, Multiple injuries are reported. EMS has requested that MedEvac be put on standby.

UPDATE: 1:09 pm The Caller reported at least 12 injuries all children.

UPDATE 1:10 pm First unit on the scene reports at least 5 injuries, MedEvac is grounded due to the weather.

UPDATE 1:17 pm EMS IC reports a total of 8 patients all Class Three and can be transported via BLS Ambulances.

UPDATE 1:25 pm EMS IC is requesting 2 additional BLS units to handle 2 patients in car seats, Monroe County Control is contacting Lake Harmony.

UPDATE 1:35 pm EMS IC reports 7 patients transported to LV-Pocono, 3 patients signed off.

UPDATE 1:52 pm 2 patients are ALS and 5 are BLS.

UPDATE 2:11 pm We are being told that a SUV rolled over and other vehicles were also involved in the accident.

UPDATE 2:25 pm Tunkhannock Volunteer Fire Co. has cleared from the accident scene.
