Obituary for Travis W. Beers of Kunkletown

Travis Beers, age 42 of Saylorsburg passed away June 14th as a result of a motorcycle accident on Weir Lake Road, Kunkletown.

Travis was born in Lehighton on August 10, 1975, son of LaWanda (Gould) Beers of Effort and the late Rick D. Beers.

He was a 1993 graduate of Pleasant Valley High School in Brodheadsville.

Travis had worked as a cook and manager at Meadowbrook Diner in Brodheadsville for 33 years.

We have been blessed with the presence of Travis in our lives. He will be deeply missed by his mother: LaWanda (Gould) Beers of Effort; his children: Timothy Beers and Heather Beers both of Hinesville, GA; his sister: Jody Beers of Pacific Grove, CA; a niece: Jesse Wujcik and a nephew: Lukas Wujcik both of Pacific Grove, CA and several aunts & uncles.

He is also survived by his girlfriend: Kimberly Mitchell of Saylorsburg and his former wife Erin Baker of Hinesville, GA.

Funeral services will be held 6 pm, Friday, June 22nd at Gower Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Route 209, Gilbert.

Family and friends are welcome to offer condolences on Friday, June 22nd from 4 pm until time of service at the funeral home.

Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
