Overdose at Pleasant Valley High School

CHESTNUTHILL TOWNSHIP: 07:23 am There is a 18 y/o Female that Overdosed on Pills at Pleasant Valley High School. She is in the Nurses office and is Alert and Conscious at this time.

We do not have any further information at this time nor do we know what drove her to take the pills.

UPDATE: 2:55 pm We have contacted the PA State Police at Fern Ridge and they state they were never called about the overdose, we then tried to contact someone at the High School and left a message and we are waiting for a response.

We do know from the original dispatch this morning that the 18 y/o girl had taken 15 50mg pills of Zoloft a drug that is used to treat depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), social anxiety disorder, and panic disorder.

West End Ambulance responding. It is unknown if the State Police is responding.
