Pleasant Valley Social Studies Teacher/Soccer Coach Passes Away
POLK TOWNSHIP: As we reported this morning at 06:45 am West End Ambulance and the State Police were dispatched to the 300 Block of Ralph Samuel Blvd in Kunkletown on a shooting call. The caller apparently told 911 that the male was in an accident earlier and was covered in blood and there was a gun near him. Once the State Police secured the scene they called in EMS who checked the male out and determined there was nothing that they could do for him. At that point, they turned the scene back over to the State Police. The Monroe County Coroner, Thomas Yanac, was notified and responded to the scene.
We now know that Pleasant Valley High School Social Studies Teacher and Soccer Coach, Chris Pachuta, 35 of Kunkletown was the person that died and that he was in a car accident on Friday. He had sustained a broken shoulder blade and a concussion. Other details on the accident are not known at this time.
