Pumpkin Patch for Kids at the West End Food Pantry’s October 15th Distribution, Donations Needed
Fall is coming up and Karena want's to provide a pumpkin patch for our pantry kids!
Commercial pumpkin patches are so expensive. So she is looking for a few things for our Oct. 15th distribution.
200 pumpkins carving size (do not need to be perfect nor huge)
200 small carving kits
200 small tea lights
Karena's goal for this project is to provide our struggling families all the supplies they need to go home, carve a pumpkin & light it!
Karena has wonderful memories of doing this with Emily.
The excitement, creativity and forced bonding time as well as the goopy mess and yummy roasted seeds! Let’s make sure all our kids have this memory.
Pumpkins and other items can be dropped of any Friday before distribution. We distribute the 1st & 3rd Saturday of each month at the Eldred Township Community Center is located at 516 Kunkletown Rd, Kunkletown, PA.. Supplies can also be dropped off at Kunkletown General Store, Mrs. Bush's Personal Care Home, or Eldred Twp Municipal office during normal working hours.
