Re-Painting of the West End Food Pantry Food Stand at the West End Fairgrounds

CHESTNUTHILL TOWNSHIP: On Monday July 30th, 2018 we had the pleasure of meeting Tim Tanzosh of T and T Construction (610) 390-5192 and George Sam of Samson Painting and Power Washing (570) 991-7630 along with their helpers Dennis and Buzz as they Donated their time to re-paint the West End Food Pantry Food Stand at the West End Fairgrounds to get it ready for the West End Fair running from August 19th through the 25th.

This will be the first year that the West End Food Pantry will be at the fair and they hope it will be the biggest fundraiser of the year to help them feed the almost 300 families twice a month throughout the year.

The opportunity came for the West End Food Pantry when the Blue Ridge Hook and Ladder volunteer fire company made the decision at their July meeting to leave the West End Fair after 40 years.

Karena Thek director of the West End Food Pantry is excited for the opportunity to have the West End Food Pantry Food Stand at the West End Fair, on Saturday, July 29th, 2018 several volunteers including myself scrubbed, scrapped, power washed and made some repairs to the food stand to prep it for Tim and George so that they could paint it.

Karena Thek is also having signs made up to put on the food stand and in our video and slideshow, we have made a sample mock-up of what a couple of the signs may look like.

Below we have a slideshow of the painters re-painting the West End Food Pantry Food Stand and a video of the painters doing their thing, enjoy and please subscribe to our Youtube channel.
