The 3rd Annual Bow Wow Bike Run & Poker Jam will be on Saturday, June 18 at Indian Trail Park, 3821 Lehigh Drive, Northampton. Rain date July 16. Registration begins 11-1, kickstands up 1 PM.
$500 to high poker hand, hand drawn at registration. 1 1/2 hour guided ride, food and drinks included: Chicken Barbeque, Pulled Pork (provided by Trio Provisions), hot dogs, hamburgers, beer and soda. Plus Chinese Auction. Music by The Cherry Bombs.
Tickets $20 in advance, $25 day of event. Tickets available at Affordable Pet Center, 2202 Main St., Northampton 610-440-0245. Vendor space available, $50.

Safe Haven Pet Rescue is a small group of dedicated volunteers from the West End of the Poconos who save highly adoptable dogs from high kill and overcrowded shelters and finds them loving homes. Shelter killing is the number one cause of dog deaths and Safe Haven has saved more than 800 lives so far.
