The Monroe County Board of Commissioners will hold a public auction on June 19, 2015
The Monroe County Board of Commissioners will hold a public auction on June 19, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Auto in Motion, 1142 Route 390, Cresco, PA for the purpose of selling county owned lawn equipment and vehicles, most of which were seized by the Monroe County District Attorney through Drug Task Force activities.
The vehicles and equipment will be available for public inspection on June 19, 2015 from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. at Auto in Motion, which is located on Route 390 near the intersection with Golf Drive in Barrett Township. All vehicles and equipment will be auctioned in "as is" condition with no guarantee as to condition.
The successful bidders must able to provide at least one form of photo identification containing current address and must be prepared to pay for the vehicles by the close of the auction on June 19, 2015 with cash or a certified check only. No personal checks or credit card payments will be accepted.
All vehicles and equipment must be removed from the property on the day of the sale. A notary will be on site to transfer the vehicle titles to the successful bidders. The notary is not an authorized PennDOT agent and will not issue temporary license plates. The successful bidder(s) is responsible for obtaining temporary license plates through an authorized PennDOT agent.
