There was No Active Shooter Last Night (12/06/2022) in Gilbert Per the State Police

CHESTNUTHILL/POLK TOWNSHIP: Per the PA State Police There was not an active shooter last night in Gilbert. There was a barricaded individual in a residence. He was taken into custody after several hours of negotiation. No injuries to the suspect or PSP. Rt 209 was closed between Mill Pond Rd & Gilbert Rd during the incident. Unfortunately, a few Irresponsible so called News Pages on Facebook Called it an Active Shooter without any proof which made a lot of people in the area Nervous and Scared, only one local News Page notified people of the Police Activity and to avoid the area, but never called it an Active Shooter since they did not have Offical word on the incident at the time. Sadly we were not feeling good yesterday and went to bed somewhere between 3 & 4 pm so we could not post anything ourselves.
