Time is Running Out, Calling All Elves, Help make a Child’s Christmas with a Christmas Toy/Supplies Shoe Box!

Calling All Elves
Help make a Child's Christmas, the West End Food Pantry has families that come to the food pantry that are in need every month and those families have approximately 240 children among them.
Most of these children will not be getting Christmas presents due to unfortunate circumstances, so Teri Buerkle came up with the idea based on the National Christmas Box project to partner with the West End Food Pantry to bring a box of Joyful Christmas to the Children in need in our area. In some situations this maybe the only gift the child would open.
Teri's hope is to have approximately 240 Gift Wrapped Shoe box's donated between October 30th and December 13th by area residents and businesses to hand out to the children at the West End Pantry's December 17th Food Distribution.
Donating is simple:

- Find an Empty Shoe box

- Fill it with gender/age group toys

- Wrap it and tag it with the gender and age group
Teri is looking for an ordinary shoe box filled with some Toys, gender/age oriented (girl or boy), maybe a coloring book, Doll, Toy Truck, Crayons, tooth brush and toothpaste or whatever you decide. Wrap it up with a blank tag (please indicate what gender and age group the box is for on the back of the tag).
Teri also asks if you can to donate a Non Perishable Food Donation (not wrapped) with your box so that they can fill the shelves of the pantry for those families in need.

You can also contact Scott Drake of The West End of Monroe County/thewestendreporter.com as he will accept drop offs for Teri to collect from him.
