Tobyhanna Township Bureau of Fire Assistant Fire Chief Arrested for Stealing Gas from Tobyhanna Township for his Personal Vehicle.

TOBYHANNA TOWNSHIP: On January 23rd, 2024 Assistant Fire Chief Jamal Lever Bayton of the Newly Formed Station 44 Tobyhanna Township Bureau of Fire that Township Supervisors Replaced the well established Station 41 Tobyhanna Township Volunteer Fire Company with was arrested for stealing Gasoline from the Township to fill up his Personal Vehicle using his Fire Department Codes costing the Township Hundreds if Not Thousands of Tax Payer Dollars.

Bayton is being charged with 5 Counts of each

18 § 7611 §§ A1 F3 Unlaw. Use of Computer - Access to Disrupt Funct.

18 § 3921 §§ A M1 Theft By Unlaw Taking-Movable Prop

18 § 3925 §§ A M1 Receiving Stolen Property.

Bayton has had run-ins with the Law before, in 2011 he was Charged with 18 § 2709 §§ A4 Harassment - Comm. Lewd, Threatening, Etc.
