Turkey Hill in Gilbert gets Robbed by a Masked Man

On Saturday morning (4/11/15), a man wearing a mask and armed with a knife robbed the Turkey Hill convenience store in Gilbert, police report.

State police at Fern Ridge said that around 2:18 a.m. Saturday, a white male wearing a blue rag over his face walked into the store, up to the register, and drew a pocket knife on the cashier. He told the clerk that he did not want to hurt him, he only wanted cash. The clerk opened the register and gave the robber $60 in $1 and $5 bills.

The man was last seen walking down Gilbert Road toward Long Mountain Drive. Police described him as around 40, between 5-10 and 6 feet tall, with brown hair and a brown goatee, wearing a green sweatshirt and blue jeans.
