UPDATE: Shots Fired Call in the 600 Block of Main Street Stroudsburg, 0100hrs, Wednesday July 27th, 2023

STROUDSBURG: Early this morning Stroud Area Regional Police were dispatched to the area of Philly's Pub for 5 Shots fired which we posted Here, according to the Offical Press Release the incident actually happened on North 6th Street and not near Philly's Pub as was dispatched over the radio. On Thursday, July 27, 2023 at approximately 1:00 a.m. the Stroud Area Regional Police Department was dispatched to the 600 block of Main Street in the Borough of Stroudsburg for a shots fired incident. Preliminary investigation shows that the shots fired took place on North 6th Street after a physical altercation with a group of individuals. Police located one bullet hole in a nearby business. This is believed to be an isolated incident between the individuals involved. There are no known injuries associated with this incident.

This is currently an active ongoing investigation in which information is still being gathered. More information will be released upon conclusion of the investigation.
