Vandal does $1,000 in damage to farmer’s field in Kunkletown
Police are looking for the driver of an older model two-door dark green or blue Ford Explorer who they say tore up a farmer's field in Eldred Township, causing $1,000 worth of damage on Sunday.
State police at Lehighton say the incident happened around 4:50 a.m. on the farm of Jason M. Green, 44, of Kunkletown.
Police say the suspect drove the Explorer on Green's farm property and Green approached the vehicle on foot. The suspect then drove through Green's alfalfa field, doing about $1,000 worth of damage to the field.
The suspect fled south on Selfies Road in the Explorer.
If caught, police say the suspect will face agricultural vandalism and criminal mischief charges.
