Victims of the Fatal Crash in Ross Township Identified

State Police have identified the two Kunkletown Rd, Ross Township Accident Fatal Crash Victims today.

47 year old Howard Brown of Saylorsburg was the driver of the Black Chevrolet Silverado. Brown had not been seat belted in at the time of the accident and was ejected from the vehicle as it went off the road and flipped over.

Browns passenger 39 year old Tara Hallingse of Lebanon, NJ was using a seat belt, and was trapped inside the upside down pickup.

Monroe County Coroner Bob Allen  pronounced the 2 victims dead the scene of the accident.

The accident may have happened on Friday, but wasn't discovered until Saturday afternoon. State Police requested Fire and EMS to the scene at 4:48 pm Saturday and upon arrival fire command requested that the Coroner be notified.

Autopsies will be performed will be preformed next week.

Kunkletown Rd was closed for several hours for investigation, but has since re-opened.
